Our last trip before Corona Virus hit was a weekend drinking get away to downtown Dallas. A little recon for our Dallas Happy Hour site. We decided to burn a large hotels.com credit and stayed at that chic hotel with the pool that sticks out of the skyscraper. The one right next door to the gigantic eyeball in the heart of uptown Dallas. We made it out the piano bar in deep elm, and hit a few restaurants. But we hit Big D on a weekend when there wasn’t much to-do.
Baseball, Football, and Six flags are all located in the same place, unfortnaity it’s about 20 miles from downtown Dallas, so it kinda makes it tought to have a dallas vacation at the coold downtoan bars, restauratns, and hotels while at the same time catching a game. It can be about $100 to Uber it there and back. On the other hand the basketball\hockey stadium is in the heart of downtown, so catching a mavericks or stars game while hitting the town is a great idea.
Zero Gravity Park – 5 thrill seaking rides like a budgy jump and it’4 insase cousins. Each ride is priced per ticket per ride. For the addrelinane junky or somebody wanting the check budgie jumping off the bucket list, this place is great.
West Village, The Bishop Arts District, The shops and Park Lane, the Gallery, the Grand Prairie Outlet Mall are all good bets for a shopping run.
